Description

Fix Wltoys 104001 chassis flex with this two top braces.

For the 3mm version you will need 8 M3x12 and the 5mm 8 M3x14.

The top front brace was two versions, with built in standoffs and without (will need to print 2 standoffs and brace).

Another option is to use the "cut" version, which removes one portion in the center, or the "full" version, which uses more plastic.

Material : PETG / PLA +

Infill : 100% or 50%

Supports : NO

The version used in the images: 3mm, cut and front with built in standoffs.

Awesome! I will print this and give it a shot. Which version uses all the stock hardware / screws? Also, does this add any height to the body (i.e. relocating body posts on the braces)?? I managed to cram a 3S ESC, some fans, plus the GPS performance monitor.. need just a teence bit more height on the body.. lol.. btw I've noticed the brushless conversion makes the chassis flex a bit more. Oh - if you haven't already; Amazon has the 0.7MOD gears for this! I put a 26T pinion on the brushless 2300Kv motor - going to go up to a 3900Kv soon for more speed - smaller pinion of course too. 4370Kv cogs too much for the size / weight off-road. Thanks!! PS: Wouldn't recommend 3S on the stock setup - my ESC fried.. and I also blew a HobbyWing 1080 ESC on 3S, literally! I have a new body on the way, but it melted a little.
