Description

Hi everyone,

made a medieval looking candle holder. Probably best looking with iron style filament.

The pins and holes are designed as press-fit connections for my printer & filaments, your mileage may vary. The assembly is a bit tricky, but doable. The upper ring is suitable for my 68mm candles. I have attached a few extra sizes, if yours is not included let me know. You can also try to scale the entire model (to some extend).

Parts for one holder:

6x Candlestand(arm)_v3

12x Candlestand(pin1-XXmm)_v1

12x Candlestand(pin2)_v1

1x Candlestand(ring1-XXmm)_v1

1x Candlestand(ring2)_v1

2x Candlestand(ring3)_v2

You will want supports for pins and in the ring holes. All connections are designed as press-fit connections but can also be glued. For press-fit connections I often print small parts like pins triple with +0,1mm and -0,1mm horizontal expansion (aka XY Size Compensation) and then use the most suitable. A postprocessing tip: use hot air blower or lighter to get out strings or color defects,
