Description
This is my 2nd iteration of the 64-Star Tetrahedron. Unlike the last one, this one has the full inner structure, making it a real pleasure to hold and spin. This model was made from scratch; zero math was used to make the shape. 100% trial and error sketching. It took me 2 years of off-and-on attempts to find the way I could make it without knowing the details of the math this marvelous shape holds. I learned a lot from making this and plan to turn it into some form of functional art in the future.
I highly recommend printing in a tri-color filament. The effect is incredible. I have printed it in 2 colors as seen in the photos. This effect is also great. As for the print itself, I have yet to get my printer to print one perfectly at full size. With support, it takes 1kg with the settings I've tried. But due to cost, I've only printed 3 of them. Future updates to come on settings. Its not hard to print just hard to get it perfect. 200mmΒ³ 3.75mm shaft radius
