Description

Are you a Resident Evil fan looking to add a unique touch to your setup or shelf? This light-up sign is just what you need. The full piece measures approximately 70x15x4 cm, but don’t worry about the size—each part is designed to fit comfortably on a standard FDM printer with a 22x22 cm print bed.

If you want to add LED lighting, you’ll need around 7 meters of LED strip to get a nice, even glow. The main parts of the casing fit together easily and can be glued with standard adhesive. I’ve also included some reinforcement pieces to give the final build a sturdier finish.

To give it that worn, aged look, I’ve added optional “cracks” (rotura) to the letters. These are separate pieces, so you can choose whether to use them or not. If you do, I recommend printing them separately and attaching them with a bit of superglue.

The “letters” file (letras) contains all the letters in one go, but I suggest splitting them into groups of 3–4—just the right amount to fit on a standard print bed. Also, for best results, print them with the flat side facing down (you may need to rotate them 180° along the X or Y axis).

Recomended Print Settings:

  • Layer height: 0.2-0.3 mm
  • Wall line count: 2
  • Top/bottom layers: 3-4
  • Infill: 15-20%
  • Supports: very few
  • Brim: Not necessary
  • Print bed size: Minimum 220 x 220 mm
  • Assembly: Use standard adhesive or superglue for joints and decorative cracks
  • LED strip (optional): Approx. 7 meters
