Description
SummaryHere is my 3D printed tricopter. It has been a work in progress that was placed on the back burner as I got busier with work. I am publishing it now as it is in very good working order. There are a few up and coming modifications that will improve both this thing and my 3D printed Quadcopter. I am very happy with the way things worked out with this design and am happy to have a tricopter back in my fleet. The tricopter was, after all, my first love in the world of multi-rotors. So here it is. Feel free to build, modify, provide feedback and of course fly!
If you enjoy my designs a small donation is greatly appreciated!

Update 8/14/13: If anyone if looking to use a CCD camera instead of a GoPro check out this thing http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:133200
Update 6/30/13: I have deleted the links to HobbyKing.com because their links always seem to change. A quick search for any of the components on HobbyKing or google should return good results. Sorry for the inconvenience.Instructions1.) Print all plates at minimum 20% infill with 2 shells.
2.) Print motor mounts at 50% infill.
3.) Print spacers at minimum 25% infill.
4.) Print Servo mount and 20% infill.
5.) Carbon tubes are sandwiched between the spacers and motor mounts can be secured using a drop or two to superglue or a set screw.
I sourced Most of this stuff from Hobbyking, but try http://www.getfpv.com for your electronics. They are a great one stop shop for multirotors and FPV.
