Description
A miniature model of the F-4 Phantom. The F-4 Phantom was a very versatile aircraft, serving at sea, on land, and in several air forces. It served well in Vietnam, in both bombing and air superiority roles. Like the MiG 21, which was exported to communist block nations, the Phantom was largely exported to free world countries during the Cold War. Interestingly, it served on both sides of the Israeli-Arab conflict. Israel received several shipments of the F-4, and Egypt received a small shipment decades later. The heavily upgraded F-4g was involved in an air superiority role in the first Gulf War. Prints best laying down, and with supports.
