Sub33D v2.06 sub $100 AUD recycled e-waste 3D printer

Print area 200W x 200D x 180H

High accuracy long life 604/605 bearing construction (No linear bearings)

10mm rods throughout design (stiffer, less vibration)

Ridged frame design (minimize frame flexing)

Designed to utilize recycled printer, PC and general e-waste components supplied by Substation 33 

Component cost excluding recycled components under $100 AUD 

Main purchased components:

Electronics (Mega, Ramps, LCD, etc) Hot end Heat bed Threaded rod and small number of screws and Wade Extruder bolt Printed parts approx 0.5kg

Main recycled components:

8mm acrylic sheets from PC LCD monitors

10mm chrome steel rods recovered from office printers

Nema 17 stepper motors recovered from office printers 

ATX 350W PC power supply screws, rubber bushes, heat sinks, fans recovered from office printers and PC's

16mm laminated particle board base plate recovered from old kitchen cabinet

Heat bed glass recovered from office printer

Wiring recovered from Ethernet LAN cable (multi stranded wire, not solid core) and PC power cords (10A wires)

Bearings recovered from office printer stepper motors (non Nema type stepper motors)
