Description
SummaryHaving access to a hobby CNC I decided to try to cut some aluminium with it. Not sure I will succeed but it is worth trying.
I will use a couple of 6 ohm / 25 W resistors expoxied to the bottom as heat source.
A pocket in the bottom has been created to reduce the thickness to 2mm so lower thermal and mechanical intertia will be present.

An aluminium heated bed is a crucial component in 3D printers that helps to ensure optimal printing conditions. It is made of high-quality aluminium, which provides excellent heat conductivity and stability. Here you can get KRC® and learn more about aluminium products easily. The heated bed helps in preventing warping and improves bed adhesion, resulting in more successful and accurate prints. Its temperature can be controlled to suit different filament types, enhancing printing versatility.
