Description

SummaryVer1.01 Upgrades! http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1644564 This is a tribute to the Ultimaker 2 tribute clone. Thumbs up for the guy who created that one (^_^)b The main motivation is cost £$, this is a decent 3D Printer for the 99%. The cost reduction is a factor of 4 (UM 2 retail for £1,700 in UK!), using only Open Source Hardware/Software, it cost in total about £350 (~US$530). Print volume is comparable at 205x205x213mm (XYZ), print quality is demonstrated to match Ultimaker 2, print speed is similar. Using original UM2 heatbed, it is capable of 110C @28V Full Documentation here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JPuVnPbgEVJBtv9Qa7PbaXDT3Li_uc_8paK1C8bIbXs/edit?usp=sharing Bill of Material for this build: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1U4j3FyiDujAYAjnLLlz5OU1p1zNjxOUnA1WLZx2qzLQ/edit?usp=sharing RAMPS 1.4 + Marlin Firmware for this build: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8KH9HafldNiQktWeTRscDRDb2s/view?usp=sharing All STL (Including those not design by me - Full attribution provided in documentation) : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8KH9HafldNibEJZSFUxVk5IMTQ/view?usp=sharing Uploading STL I've designed or remixed Enjoy!
