Summary
This is the first of two remixes I did of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:29677 for a film class I took last month. The other one is here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1594004
For this one the changes are very, very minor. I just made the handles stack together a bit more neatly and it’s made for a camera with a flip out viewfinder so does not need the offset pieces. I also made two sleeves so you can use standard 22.2mm bicycle handlebar grips. I was able to find the foam shoulder pad on TaoBao for about $5 so it did not make sense to print that part. Amazon seems to have similar pads but for a bit more money:

As in the original you’ll need 15mm and 20mm aluminum tubing, the stuff I used a lot thicker than I needed I think (15mmOD/10mmID and 20mmOD/12mmID). The end plugs reflect this- but you don’t really need them. It just looks cleaner. The thumbwheels are here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:11848 The link to the original model details the required hardware.
