Any plans on doing the rest of his armor and shield?
hmm I might. I can probably do it now that I figured out Tsplines in Fusion. I do have several other weapons coming soon from RWBY.
hello there I was wondering what is the best plastic to use, what one did you use
I used PLA on my Makergear M2 but I backed in some tolerances that hopefully allow it to be printed in several materials.
the design is printing very well on my anet a8 printer, the one thing i may suggest is that you print pins to hold the blade sections together ( very easy to do the pin slots are about 7 mm each )
We designed them to have a 1/4" or 6mm dowel to be run through the entire blade for support but a few 7mm pins will work great for a display model.
