Summary
My buddy Glade created a tail fin joiner from plywood and carbon fiber. We took the design and created a 3D printed part that was much easier to work with and set the angle for the joiner with ease. This was designed and used on the FliteTest Arrow design. It could be scaled up for larger wings.
The tube holes accept 3mm or 1/8th inch carbon tubes. Just glue them in. Put a barbecue skewer under the tail fin and glue it in the slot. The carbon tubes are then fit up into the wing and glued in place.
