Description
This design was a fun challenge to test print limitations. I have owned a printer for 3 months (Original Prusa i3 MK2) and I'm slowly figuring out how to design for 3D print. It was printed with a .2 mm layer height due to time limitations and 10% infill, using PLA. The model is split in 4 parts, base, main body, head and cap. I have designed it to house a light in the head with a hollow leading down the body and out under the base for cables and a cavity in the base to house a battery. I will re print the head and cap with a .15 layer height for better details. The body was designed to print entirely without support and the rest is quite straight forward. I used Prusa settings to start with and adjusted from there. I think most of you know more about print setting than I do. Hope you like it!

Hi Malesh7all! Very sorry for such a late reply. I checked in just over a month and everything seemed normal, but I just received a message from Pinshape that due to technical difficulties they will no longer support purchasable downloads, only free once. I will try and find another forum to sell my models and will post a link here if you are still interested. It is very sad because I really like Pinshape and the forum members have been very good to me and my work. Again sorry for late reply.
Really Relly nice
Thanks! :)
Hi, could you help me? I can not print the pumpkin hat properly. I position it horizontally and nothing. layer height: 0.10 - Filling: 10% with support. I have problems with the tips at the base of the hat.
Hi Sergio! Sorry if I'm late with my reply. First I would use more infill to help strengthen the tips. When printing use a raft and then (important) elevate the model 1-2 mm from the raft so that no part of the model touches the raft, then add support. Orient the hat with the inside facing down towards the raft like you did before. Use a good amount of support but thin, the support will be built on the raft. Use z hop and a slow print speed. The print will take longer but it should help! Use an exacto blade to cut the support from the tips, it helps! let me know how it goes and good luck!
I'm having a hell of a time getting the upper teeth to print. I lose at least one tip each time. Any suggestions on head orientation and/or support values that were successful? Thanks!
Hi David! I printed the head bottom down and with support. Now I used a setting that minimised the amount and the angle so that only the tips of the upper teeth gets the majority of the support (can't remember the exact values). When cleaning the print I used a x-acto blade to cut away the support. This helped to ensure not breaking anything. Hope this helps and let me know how it goes! good luck
Can't wait to do this. I think I'll do the base in Wood PLA (finished) and the rest in Fillamentum Vertigo Grey.
best pumpkin moster ever see
