Description

Stresstest your 3D Printer by printing this tiny collectable stocking stuffer.

Both the jet fighter and the egg was each designed to be printed in place without any support structures. The jet fighter have variable-sweep wings. The egg is hinged.

I have also included upscaled versions with updated tolerance for those who wants to print the airplane bigger. Keep in mind since this model was designed to be tiny there is no profile on the wings

Lol awesome, which printer is it? I don't think my DLP resin pronter can do it

Thanks. This was made on a Makerbot Replicator 2. All attempts on my eggs on a resinprinter I have seen so far has failed (even on a form2). The prints always fuses, although the surface smoothness has been perfect. I think it is because the viscosity of resin makes it hard to get out of the hinges and cavities, there is no draining holes. I hope to buy a resinprinter in the future and redesign these for resin if possible

And the worst thing is that you wont be able to fit inside the canopy :(
