Description

This is a model of the Time Machine from the 1960 movie. It is modeled after the prototype that the time traveler showed his friends before sending it on a one way journey through time.

I have printed and assembled the model so you can be sure it works. Assembly instructions are included with the files.

21-1-2019 - added extra files for slightly different version.

I think it's okay to outsource some functions to other companies. In this way the company saves the cost of training its staff. You can learn more about outsourcing here https://wow24-7.io/blog/7-steps-to-set-up-an-outsourcing-contact-center, which will help build business processes more efficiently. And will definitely bring profit to the company.

Great design! Wanting to print this as a gift for someone but I'm completely clueless when it comes to 3d printing so was thinking of outsourcing to a local business for help and just have a few questions: Is there a specific glue and paint you should use when assembling and painting? What's the estimated collective print time?

Well its been a while since i printed mine but approximatley six to eight hours of print time. I printed different parts in different materials, the base and chair frame in wood pla and stained with a mahogany wood stain, some of the fittings in brass, the light in clear pla and the rest in a pla whose color matched the part so not a lot of painting per se. The whole thing was sprayed with a clear coat after assembly. used super glue to assemble. You could print the whole thing in grey pla and then use standard hobby acrylic paints if you wanted.
