Description

STL file only. Pair. Updated for better fit. Tested with Acer, HP, Lenovo Explorer and Dell Visor, but it should work with Asus. If you have Samsung Odyssey, get this one.

Thickness is 1.1 mm, so it remains elastic that you can snap lens in, and also snap it on headset eye piece. If you don't have a 3D printer that can print it, get a pair printed from Shapeways in correct size.

This is for diopter up to -3.75 with polycarbonate material, or but it works with -8.00 if you get index 1.57 or higher. Get a pair of lenses compatible with this adapter by ordering this pair of eyeglasses for $10

Try this link for $5 off http://bit.ly/2JcVDNk if you give Zennioptical your email address (does not have to be primary), and then search for 550021

Add anti-reflective coating, as it is free.

Up to -3.75 (SPH) and CR39 material;

-4.0 to -8.0 and higher use Index 1.57

Larger diopters than these are supported with higher index lenses (available on Zenni at order time, with higher prices).

Note: according to my research, when ordering above eyeglasses, the IPD (interpupillary distance) should be set to 69 regardless of your personal IPD. This way the center of eyeglasses lenses would overlap the center of Mixed Reality Headset lenses.

If you want perfect fit for your diopter, you can order eyeglasses with lenses first, measure thickness, and I will update model to that diopter.

See mounting video, and please note that the adapter in the video is an older version

For personal use - no commercialization allowed.

Hello, will this print on a MakerBot Replicator 2? Does it need to be split into pieces for better printing results? Thank you!

Hi. I printed it on the Ultimaker2 which is the same printing process as MakerBot (black one on the first image), so it should work with it too, but it is much more rigid than the translucent one printed in resin. It still works but it is harder to put the lens inside so be extra careful. The one on the first image is not the highest resolution. I am sorry but I don't remember if I printed it with or without the support, but if you can edit the support, make sure it is not in the "channel" for the lens

Do you know what is the minimal thickness they can print (in millimetres). I can send you the updated file with that info
