Description

This prints as one piece and if your support looks like mine (pic) leave it in for baffling. It requires full support. It is about 150 mm square and 160 mm high. I added polyfil behind the speaker, but not pressing against the speaker. It is supposed to make the box seem bigger. I think it sounds pretty good. I used a Kenwood from Best Buy that was less than $25 a pair. Any 4" speaker should work. I used some thin foam around the speaker opening to bock air escaping around the speaker (pic). So far I have printed six. I use a inexpensive 15 watt per channel amp but I am going up to 20 to get a little head room. They are powered by 12 volts to 24 volts and are designed mainly for cars. I was impressed how clean FLAC encoded (lossless) media sounds. Most modern androcell phones will decode it if you have the VLC media player app. Some of the little amps support bluetooth which makes it even easier.
