Description

I designed my own christmas decoration in the shape of this tree look a like. You can put a light source inside it (make sure it's not hot) or use it as a vase.

Disclaimer: usage of any models from 3DParts4U will be at your own risk.

I printed a tree with 3.2mm thick walls scaled down to a 37.5% size, which results in a 1.2mm wall. I also printed a tree with 3.2mm thick walls scaled down to a 25% size, which results in a 0.8mm wall. My print settings in Simplify3D for those scales:

Felix PLA filament | 3600mm/minute (60mm/second) | hotend 185°C | bed 55°C | 250 micron | 0 top layers | 3 bottom layers | 2 outline layers fan 100% | brass nozzle 0.35mm | extrusion width 0.40mm | retraction 1.00mm | extrusion multiplier 1.00 | coasting 0.30mm | wipe distance 5.00mm

You can experiment with different sizes (wall thickness). The 100% scale version has a wall thickness of 3.2mm. I also added files with a wall thickness of 0.4mm, but it's probably more difficult to print. I used an extrusion width of 0.40mm.
