Description

This is a Low poly Geometric design.  All the pieces were formed from the same repeating simple geometric elements.  The set was designed with playing in mind,  they are each distinctive enough in look to be easily recognizable.  The pieces are also designed to be easily gripped between two fingers when playing.

The base of each piece is 1.5"  and the king stands just over 4.5" tall, but if needed the set can be safely scaled down to a 1" diameter base.  Print with two shells and 18% infill for a solid feeling set.  Print time for all 32 pieces was 42 hours.  I hope you like playing with them as much as I do.

Thank you, I appreciate the feedback. I do put a lot of time into these designs and I'm experimenting with different incoming models that would give me more time to do more of it. This is one of those experiments. I suspect though that most people just aren't up to this much printing and so my potential market for the chess pieces is just too small to make any money at it.

Thank you :), I've got a few ideas for more sets, I just need the time to model and print them..The chess sets always take awhile to print.

Love how you manage to convey different pieces. You've done that other chess set too I remember— you've definitely got lots of good ideas on how to make each piece different, while still keeping a general theme!
