Description

Prints reliably with good quality in 7 mins and 30 seconds with 0.6mm nozzle and "avoid crossing perimeters" on. Designed to take pressure of the mask off the back of the ears.

Recommended settings -

Layer height - 0.32mm Infill - Concentric @100% Wall count - 5 fan - off

Optional settings: • If getting small holes in print and are using Cura: enable "connect infill polygons" • Ironing on to increase smoothness of top layer, increases print time considerably. • If suffering from stringing, turn on "combing (everywhere)" in Cura or "avoid crossing perimeters in Slic3r

Advanced Tuning and Speedups (optimised in Cura, not all settings will be available in all slicers so don’t worry!) -

Layer height - 0.32mm Line width - 0.4mm Wall line count - 1 Top surface Skin layers - 0 Top layers, bottom layers, initial bottom layers - 0 Initial bottom layer expansion - -0.26mm Z-seam alignment - shortest Infill - Concentric @100% Infill line distance - 0.4mm Enable “connect infill polygons.

Scaling the grips down on the z-axis to 0.6mm and setting layer height to 0.3mm will take 1/3 off the print time however makes it more flexible too as it is being made thinner.

Many thanks to Andrew Walter too, who helped me optimise the settings and improve the overall structure and design of the grip!

If you have any suggestions regarding modifications, improvements or have any problems please leave a comment with your suggestions, as it helps me make it better!

Thanks :)
