





This is a smaller version of Tubes1. The description of that one explains how I came up with the design and why it is shaped the way it is. This print completed in just under 9 3/4 hours using a print speed of 90 mm/sec and a layer height of 0.200 mm.
Pipes3 (coming soon) will be another variation of this design, but with the light pipes spaced at regular intervals rather than randomly.
This lamp will accommodate any one of several LED lights called "puck" lights. You can get these powered by either batteries of wall power. This blog page has links for wall powered lights that work well:
