Bar end plug fits 18mm handlebar. If yours is bigger, just use a duct tape to adjust diameter.
I have used valve from old inner tube. It has 6mm diameter, fits seal strip and it is environment friendly! ;)
Use glue to connect seal strip with sharp end. I have also glued metal tube with plug.
I hope that my project will save your ass on mtb trails!
