I use regular household sponges for gripping for the slots at the right to grip brushes. You can get simple sponges just about anywhere and they can be cut to size (there are channels incorporated in the design for support, then glue the sponge pieces in with super glue. Suggestion, don't cut the slot to hold the brush until -after- you glue pieces in place.
