Description
This voronoi style lamp is split into multiple parts which makes it easy to print.
Instructions:
- Download and print all the required pieces. I recommend printing in a very opaque dark color to decrease the risk of light leakage and spray painting it if you want a lighter color. If your printer is well calibrated you can print it solid and it will also look good. Use a less opaque filament for the bottom parts if you want the effect I have.
- Assemble. I recommend gluing the sides and top together, taking special care with corners so that light doesn't shine through.
- Add lamp. A typical E14 lamp holder will work, but to get clean shadows you want a very small light source. I used an IKEA LEDBERG without the lens but IKEA HALVKLART or another small point light source works just as well.
Scaling: For E14 lamps I recommend using the full size, but for LEDBERG I find it nicer to print it at approximately 85% scale. I've added a LEDBERG specific base for 85% size. Just scale all the other parts on all axes and print the smaller base.
