Description
Here is my entry for the Maker Tron contest.
This is a security MakerTron.
Model: G-Tron
Head : Behind the Kong mask, are hidden 4 sensors wich detect any signs of troubles.
Torso sensors : detects aggressivity
Eyes sensors : detects anxiety (yes, MakerTron's can be anxious too!)
Legs : shorter than the other Tron's legs, these ones offers better stability to the whole bot.
Arms : Each shoulder has it's own engine and energy source.
Hands: Heavy Detterent Device : Keep Calm !
Don't mess with him.
Needs supports like 'touching build plate" type. Print it in PLA with a 15% infill and a 200µ layer size.

Hey Max, I just started printing this and I noticed the torso is missing from the files.
Hi Todd :) You can find the torso (MT_Torso_Master.stl ) here : https://pinshape.com/items/9087-3d-printed-makertron . Cheers :)
someone took your design and posted on theirs https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2840609
Thanks Huanksta ! Looks like I'm not the only one who had their works "borrowed". thanks for the heads up !
Great Design! Very new to the printing game. I am printing at .75 scale, having trouble printing the head and torso. Printer gets so far and then the piece comes off of the printing table. Is there anyway to rotate the piece so it prints with the wider parts first. Thanks, for your help.
printing this now in pieces, just wondering about the lower part of the body which i believe is gorilla_tron_full_lowpoly.stl is the whole figure was wondering if it just came as just the lower part of the body?
Nope, It would be gorilla_tron_leg.R.stl and gorilla_tron_leg.L.stl . The "gorilla_tron_full_lowpoly.stl" was only here for display.
This model totally reminds me of Winston from Overwatch too ( http://us.battle.net/overwatch/en/heroes/winston/ )
Indeed ! I did not know this one though ^^
This model looks so awesome!
Does it print solid, or is it possible to print it hollow?
Thanks! :)
Hey thanks ! This model is solid. But, using something like Meshmixer, you could easily make it hollow :) (It works for the head for instance)
Thank you Max ! Your model is so amazing I decided to print it as a decoration toy for my son :) I really love it !
Thanks, I'm glad you love it :) If you see anyway I could improve the design, please, ask !
Hello, I believe the body part is missing from the archive. Could you add it please ? :)
