The F120-F770 adapter allows the use of the regular F123 DRD in the F120 and F770 machines.  

The adapter is an assembly of the following components - see component images.

Ssys chip

F123 DRD

contact extender board

contact extender board holder (printed item)

chip-holder (printed item) 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Print the chip holder

Print the contact extender board holder

Insert the contact extender board into the extender board holder as shown in image 2.  Note the orientation of the extender board spring pin contacts.

Insert the DRD into the chip holder as shown in Image 3.   Note the orientation of the contacts.

Insert the Ssys chip into the chip holder on top of the DRD as shown in Image 4.  Note the orientation of the board "v" and contacts.

Insert the extender board into the chip holder beneath the DRD as shown in Image 5.  You should now have a chip sandwich of extender-DRD-Ssys chips in order from bottom to top.  

Insert the extender board contact end into the machine as shown in image 6.  

Connect the filament tubing.

The next time you need to change chips, you only need to remove the chip holder (the sandwich) from the extender board.  The board and tubing can remain in place.
