SummaryYamaha's flagship DTX900 is a big brute at 3.6kg, and needs a strong mount. It comes with a fixed post that can go into a drum rack bracket, but I wanted to mount it on a free-standing cymbal stand and have tilt capabilities.
The swivel parts have mating radial ridges at 15-degree steps to help hold it in position. The post is 19mm.
Printed in high-strength PolyMax PLA from PolyMakr at 190C with 0.3mm layers with an Afinia on Fast mode and the fan duct open. I recommend printing the post horizontally so that the layers run parallel to its length for strength.
The thumbscrew accepts an M6 nut; you'll need an M6 x 25 hex-head bolt.
