support for PTFE tube
Free
SummaryAfter many times of filament changes, I notice that when I introduce filament in the bowden extruder it was getting stuck into it, but this was the fitting fault. When printing I notice a strange noise at drive gear when it was trying to push filament in PTFE tube. One possible cause was clogging, but after I cleaned the extruder the noise continued. Then I saw to others 3d printers how it makes a nice curved shape not like an spline that I had had. By introducing this support, the filament stays in an good position and filament easily forwards to extruder and never block. Also, I've changed the size of filament diameter from 1.75 to 1.67 in slicer software after it was measured with a caliper. I've made two versions, one for connecting with a tube marker of 18 mm diameter and the second one entirely of filament.Print SettingsPrinter Brand: RepRapPrinter: Prusa I3Rafts: NoSupports: NoResolution: 0.2Infill: 30
