BoosterPack is a portable configurable light-duty clamp-on device that gives your bike an electric boost! This is the set of 18 unique files that are used to build your very own "Bicycle BoosterPack" as seen on EngineerDog.com! (STL files available exclusively on Pinshape.com) (Note: The BoosterPack Mini is simply another configuration of these files, it just uses fewer of them. )

Printing Notes:
**Parts must be printed in the orientation they appear when you load them!
**Post processing of files (such as threading holes) will be necessary. (thread holes in PLA underwater to prevent heat warp)
**These files are all guaranteed printable in ABS and PLA.
**Please refer to the chart in the attached images for printing settings: (NOTE: All parts should have a minimum of 3 perimeters on all sides! Also, more infill than I've recommended couldn't hurt!)

Absolutely, and im glad you mentioned that because using it as a devoted bike-to-battery-charger had not occurred to me. Mechanically you would just rotate the tension spring so that it holds the motor tightly against the tire instead of pulling it away. Of course thats just the mechanical part, the standard ESC does not support regenerative braking, but a 'VESC' controller does. Of course, if you just want to have a dynamo and dont need the boosting capability then you could mount any old brushed electric motor up to this frame and wire it to a lead acid battery through a diode or a more sophisticated charger.
I just bought your parts and uploaded it into make XYZ and it needs almost $400 to print them. That certainly not affordable.

There are literally 7,000 suppliers in Portland where I live for example, so it enables you to compare prices and even pick parts up in person.
Additionally, I am days away from posting a Boosterpack assembly video series along with an Ebay link to the printed and prepared parts I'm selling for less than 100
Can these plastic parts be cnced instead of 3D printed? if not. Where do you recommend to have them printed with high resolution?
I have not tried to CNC them, but if you have access to the equipment and want to try Id love to hear about it! (My gut says its quite possible but would be a heck of a lot of work!)
Idea of how much would it cost to get printed on a service such as makexyz.com or Ponoko.com? Thank you.
I'm thinking around $100. There's a lot of thick parts here and while plastic is cheap, printing time is not.
