I had intended to use o-rings to supply some sealing and friction but I didn't have any appropriately sized ones so I used some Sugru. I spread it around on the inside (where the o-ring grooves are). It didn't have to be very thick. You could also modify the scad file to get it to work with o-rings if you have the right size. There is a 4mm hole in the STL for a bolt to attach a tether. You can disable it in the openscad if necessary.
