SummaryI needed some drawer dividers for a jewelry box. Then I realized that I could also make trays that slide around on top of the organizer to make even more compartments.
The STL probably won't be terribly useful to most since it is set up for my specific drawer but the scad file makes it easy to generate whatever you need.InstructionsThe module is pretty simple:
drawer_divider(width=103.7,depth=76.4,height=16,external_wall=1.5,internal_wall=3,x_compartments=3,y_compartments=2,floor_thickness=1,floor=0)
You can specify the thickness of the external and internal walls separately. I set mine up to be 2x a thread width for the external walls and 4x for the internal. That way, it didn't do any fill pattern, it just made them solid.
I've found that for items like this it's useful to switch to a bigger nozzle if you have one (I used a .6 for this with a .375 layer height and .75 thread width).
The floor argument turns the floor off or on (1 is on).
