SummaryThis is a root shield for pots in an aquaponic system. We had problems with fish eating the roots of plants, specifically basil plants. This will guard the roots against the fish up to a length of about 30cm. The unit itself is a bit longer than 30cm. The inner diameter at the narrowest part is about 5.9cm, if you're wondering what pots it fits. The 3dm file, and rootshield2.stl are the same. I designed the first one and exported it to STL but the computer overheated and shut off before I saved the 3dm.
