Magnetic joints for delta.

SummaryTo put to use some IGUS rails I have got I needed a new carriage design as screw pattern is different that other guides used for deltas. Plus, I wanted to have a magnetic joint system for effector rods. You have the full set of parts now. Provision was made to include an inductive proximity detector for z-probbing (autocalibration and self-leveling are two good uses for it). It seems to work nicely: http://youtu.be/M_j38IW02h0Instructions12x 10mm steel balls 12x 6mm-diameter 8mm-long N42 magnets 6x 6mm OD carbon fiber tubes Balls are epoxied to the ball recesses made in the parts and magnets are epoxied inside the plastic parts that end each side of the carbon fiber tubes.
