This design was created to be highly adjustable to fit a variety of users and a variety of tasks. It can be used without the used of ones hands but the handle is designed to be able to fit into closed hands, weak grips or with less than 5 fingers . The gripping force is created by elastic bands placed on the grabbers and they are opened with the force of ones forearm pushing forward. It was created in this manner so that it would be easy to control things close to oneself while maintain a stronger grip on things farther away. Hope this helps someone!
