This is a tribute to the Ultimaker 2 tribute clone. Thumbs up for the guy who created that one (^_^)b
The main motivation is cost £$, this is a decent 3D Printer for the 99%. The cost reduction is a factor of 4 (UM 2 retail for £1,700 in UK!), using only Open Source Hardware/Software, it cost in total about £350 (~US$530).
Print volume is comparable at 205x205x213mm (XYZ), print quality is demonstrated to match Ultimaker 2, print speed is similar. Using original UM2 heatbed, it is capable of 110C @28V
