There are some other fan shrouds that do work with the Robo3D R1 and R1 Plus, however none of them did what I needed, which was to be able to mount not one, but two 40mm x 20mm turbofans (get them here).
So a new mount was needed and lo and behold, here it is. I must say its really efficient, It cools extremely hard, extremely quick so you may want to vary your fan speeds, for mine I use them at 75% and only do 100% power on extreme overhangs.
