Rocket Science canned air rocket with Interchangeable Fins
Free
Summary Rocket with interchangeable fins. I got tired of breaking off fins, and having to reprint an entirely new rocket. With the new design, the fins can be printed flat on the print surface in layers. Use compressed air and water to fly. Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 5 Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: .5 mm with .25 layer height Infill: 0% Notes: Brim only. I found that I can print this entirely without a raft. Layer height .25 for all parts. Shell thickness .5, or 1 mm. If .5, the lower fuselage is more fragile, but lighter. I printed mine with .5 shell thickness, and it flew perfectly. 5.5 seconds flight time with a nearly empty can of compressed air.
