Summary
This is a version of the Rubiks cube for the blind that uses the core from an original Rubiks Cube instead of a fully printed one. Instructions
If you print all of the stl's that are labeled 'plate' you will get all of the pieces, most of them are the same as the original, I just include them for convenience.
The only new pieces are the center_outer_xxx_cap.stl's (xxx replaced with each individual cap type) and the center_outer_cap_plate.stl that has them all combined.
You'll need glue (I used super glue) to combine all the printed parts together following the instructions of the original Rubiks cube for the blind http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:9913, except for the printed core part of it.
Then, take your original Rubiks core and remove the caps that hold the colored stickers on all 6 sides. It's a bit difficult, but I managed to pop them off using a razor blade. Once those are off, replace the caps with the printed ones, use some super glue or something to attach them. Assemble the rest of the cube using your printed parts and you're done!
