Hi Carmelo. Been trying to print this helmet, and wondered if I could ask you a technical question, as keep encountering an issue. New to 3D printing, so likely a "me" problem, but I've been doing some 50% test prints, 3 so far, and the same thing crops up on each, regardless of settings. At the nose area, just below the judge badge, the "X" shaped area is super frail and stringy. The rest of the print is solid as a rock. At first, I thought it was the supports, but all 3 test prints do the same thing, and I used totally different support settings each time. Snaps off just below the badge tip, and weak and spongy at an area just above. I also watched "Uncle Jessy" print one in full size on Youtube, and his also snapped off at exactly the same area. Any suggestions? I'd love to print this full size as a display piece, but until I work out what I'm doing wrong, I don't want to risk 4 days and a roll of filament on it. Happy to send through pics of the issue, which show it clearly, if it helps? Appreciate any assistance you could give. Rocko.
did you use the original scale or re size? did you slice or print as a whole?
I sliced it into several pieces, I can't remember if I had to re-scale it.
