Summary Boom for the common photography lamp stand. I used 1/2" curtain rod. The ball size on the stand is 14mm. SCAD files included for your customization. You will need: M3x 24 bolt and nut for the clamp. M3x10 bolt, washers and nut for the counterweight. Fit bottle cap on counterweight piece and drill a 3mm hole in the middle of the cap.
