Summary Saw a friend with a neat metal link watch and was inspired to try my hand at a printed variant. I measured my watch strap to be ~24mm but pretty much free-handed the rest of it. I ultimately ended up with a link 24mm W x 14.5mm L x 5mm D, and 9.5mm axle to axle on center. FYI, this is just the link. Haven't designed a clasp/buckle yet. Included both the Rhino5 model and a ready-to-print STL Instructions Just print out as many links as you like, then line them up and push a length of filament through the holes. Trim the filament and repeat for as many link pairs as you have.
