Summary
I had to put up some Curtains, and the Gyprock (Drywall for Yanks) was very soft, and my screw wouldn't hold at all. I looked through Bunnings, and these GravityToggles seemed the beast of a bad bunch. Their design was questionable, with very thin metal holding all the weight (rated 10Kg). I figured with a solid part pressing on the Gyprock, much heavier things could be held up OK - and they are. I even made a double length one for even heavier stuff.
I used some SupaGlue to hold the new plastic part to the metal part - see the pics - plus this saves me several thousand words :-)
BTW - the Curtains are still up
