The main fin was designed from a picture of a shark fin using www.smoothie-3d.com and output to an STL file. The STL file was scaled 1000 times in Slic3r, and a few millimetres shaved from the bottom to provide a flat base and the STL saved. This STL file was then modified in 123D Design to add in the holes for the straps, saved as an STL again, then sliced in Slic3r with .2mm thickness and 10% fill and output to gcode, to make it very light when printed.
