3D printer filament guide
Free
Summary This is a simple filament guide, designed to bolt to the frame of a 3D printer. I couldn't find a simple guide on the various maker sites, so I quickly put one together in Fusion 360. I'm happy to send you the file, if you wish to modify something in the design. I designed it to sit in the middle of the gantry on my Mendel90 printer. The width between the gap is 4mm, which means you'll have to modify if your gantry thickness is greater. If it's thinner, like mine is 3mm, it's fine as the plastic will bend when tightened with the bolt. The bolt holes are 4mm in diameter. The hole for the filament is wide and quite rounded to ensure that the filament can come from every direction, smoothly. Hope people find this useful. Happy to answer any questions.
