Mini Cooper Key Fob Button Replacement
Free
Summary The Keyfob buttons on my central locking remote disintegrated last week. These are two part replacements for the buttons to be printed in flex or tpu. Printed on Glass, with watered down modge podge matte for adhering, & placed in the fridge after printing. Apologies to all 6 of you for the incorrect sized first iteration, new version is up now. Print Settings Printer: Duplicator i3 Resolution: 0.1 / 0.2 Infill: 15 Notes: I suggest a 0.3 nozzle and a reduced print speed for the details. - but you know this already... Post-Printing Assembly Clean up the old button holes with a scalpel blade (pictured) Then, once printed, place the thicker outer button into the top of your keyfob shell. Turn it over & Dab a bit of glue on the button you are mounting, Place the base part of the button over the now reversed, glue applied side, top button and apply pressure. leave for 5 mins to set before assembling the rest of the casing and electronics.
