Geometric Deer
Free
Summary This is modeled more or less after the geometric deer found at IKEA. It's just in the likeness, and no where near an exact match. Basically my wife wanted smaller versions of the one we got at IKEA, so I made this. You'll need to print the body front / back, and two each of the back and front legs (4 legs total) and glue them together. You can find more information on the process of making this over at https://www.stevenquinndesign.com/blog/diy-christmas-decorations-with-a-3d-printer/. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1mm Infill: 20% Post-Printing You'll need to glue these pieces together. Some sanding of the contact areas and then using Krazy glue worked well for me. After that, I used a metallic spray paint to coat the surface and finished it up by painting on a satin varnish to protect the paint.
