Objective: To encourage number counting - up and down

Age range: 5 and up.

Ten Green Bottles is a well-known British musical song. This printed object encourages young sight-limited children to practice number recognition and counting through a simple play and learn game.  Can be used with one child or preferably in a small group.

The game might be used as a 'starter' for Braille number recognition.

Play starts with an empty board/base, the child, with the help of the assistant, then matches the bottles with the base. They can do this from low, 1, or high, 10. 

With the assistant they then start singing 'Ten Green Bottles" and the child removes one tile at a time with each verse until all 10 bottles are removed.

This pattern continues until the number of bottles reaches zero:

One green bottle hanging on the wall, One green bottle hanging on the wall, And if that green bottle should accidentally fall, There'll be no more bottles hanging on the wall.

To print the second colour I just waited for appropriate moment and changed the filament, but you have to time it right. Lots of info on web about this.
