Hey drummers.  Tired of having to run to the music store to buy new sticks when you break them?  Save gas, time and money by printing them yourself.  

I printed the tip and handle on their side for strength.  I used a raft instead of a brim to keep the print from warping and lifting off the print deck.  If you print them standing up it gives the sticks tons of shear points.  I recommend printing the splice piece standing up so there are no supports on the inside. It seems to hold together fine.  I printed using PLA with layers at .250mm and raft the same.  The walls are 1mm thick and use 4 loops.
