This 3D printed bearing is a cost saving alternative to regular bearings. This bearing is 1" ID x1.7"ODx0.5" . The STL. file is suitable for any FDM 3D printer.
As an added feature the bearings has divots cut out of the contact arms to allow for a solid/paste lubricant. The section that is removed also allows for minimal surface contact with any rod that would be used.
Best performance when used with any plastic rod for example delrin, acetal, nylon, or any polypropylene plastic.
This concept can be integrated in to 3D printed designs to limit the amount of parts as well the need for assembly after printing.
