Description

Articulated Robot design.  His name es Ankly

It is printed articulated, without need of later assembly. A challenge for your printer, you must adjust it well to be able to print it since the tolerances for the joints are minimal. Once printed it is necessary to review and remove the small supports of the piece. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkAjQNrZWSM

You will find two files one at 100% in size and another at 80%. ( 100% size it is easier to get good results)

The design is great. Printed successfully in 3h the 60% scaled model on the cheapest 3d printer available in the market (mp cadet) with 100 % infill, and he default settings (0.2 mm) , no heated bed, so used a raft. My 2 yo loved it ( and me of course).

The back of Ankly head should have more plain area to provide more contact of the first layer to printer table. I had some problems after 3% printing as the piece did no stick to printer table... Nice model! I have printed some, thanks.

Wonderful design. His arm fell down 11 hours into my first print attempt, which made me sad (more for him than me!). His brother printed fine with a small brim. I’m giving him a Japanese nickname: “Ashikubi-kun”. Thank you!

Hello Sonia. I'm printing this design for the 3rd time, because I found out that I was doing some configs (on slic3r) wrong and I had two loosen screws on my 3dprinter. One on the Z axis and another on the X axis. But I think i've finally got it and am printing right now. Thanks for such a wonderful job.

The "80 little puppet Ankly .stl" appears to be broken (the head, specifically). Probably non-manifold edges. Can't get it to slice properly in Slic3r or Cura. The "100 size for Ankly.stl" looks fine though. Printing it later today!

I've modified that file 20 minutes ago, I think it's fine. I hope it works
